Jonathan Leamy has been a performing musician in the Central Florida area for over 15 years. His first instrument, the trombone, landed him a spot in the legendary Sam Rivers RIVBEA Orchestra as a 19 year old college freshman. His early music career was diverse; Jonathan played both drums and trombone in bands that ranged from ska/punk (69 Fingers), to jazz fusion (The GoodRub, ISM), to well-established corporate cover bands (The Malones, Kathleen Kane and the 007 Band), to big bands (Bill Allred Big Band).
Today, Jonathan brings his years of performing experience and multi-instrument capabilities to a wide variety of clients.
Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Central Florida and an Associate of Arts Degree from Valencia College.
Jonathan was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. Raised in Orlando, he grew up in a tight-knit European household, raised solely by his French mother, Marite (AKA The Queen of France), and taught to appreciate music at a very early age. Jonathan currently lives in Orlando, FL, with his awesome girlfriend Monica and her two rad kids, Mackenzie and Macayle. And a friendly chihuahua named Jingles.
